Boone Hall Plantation is an Antebellum era plantation house and gardens with a beautiful tree lined driveway punctuated by Spanish moss gently hanging from the branches.

We came here to learn about the plantation history, the cotton trade and slavery in america.

The tour of the house is nice although it is not the original and the trolley trip around the grounds interesting. However walking along slave street and learning about the slave trade and working conditions on the plantation was the highlight.
