One of the seven wonders of the world! The best part of our trip so far!

Iguacu falls are located on the border of Brazil and Argentina and are made up on over 250 individual water falls. To get the best views and the most out of your trip to the falls both the Brazillian & Argentinian side are a must.

After a 28hr bus ride from Paraty we made it to Foz do Iguacu the Brazilian city next to the falls . We decided to stay walking distance from the national park and opted for a Eco hostel. The Eco hostel was in the wilderness with warning posters of scorpions, spiders and snakes everywhere-wow how to make a girl freak out! the noise at night from the creatures was crazy -like high pitch squealing. I am so not a ‘insects,  reptiles, other life threatening animals’ person.

The day we decided to visit the falls there was a massive thunderstorms and we had not taken any waterproofs, we were soaked through within minutes and left the national park to return a little later when we were better prepared.

The falls are amazing to view and it is somewhat mesmerizing just watching the water fall and crash.
