Thanks to staying at Sophie’s beach house in Bussleton we got to explore the Margaret River region. This was our favourite part of the trip so far.

We visited Yallingup Beach. This was stunning with the bluest, clearest water we have ever seen and the reef in the shallow waters. Nothing will ever compare to the beach at Yallingup!

After this we headed to Meelup Beach, this was also lovely EXCEPT… we decided to go for a walk in the bush to get to a look out. As we were walking we heard a violent rustle in a bush, Eva thinking it was a Possum was looking waiting to see a cute creature… It was a brown SNAKE (venomous) which we had disturbed and it tried to attack us.

We ran away very fast. We were a bit shaken after this so headed to a winery (as you do) for some lunch. Looking back at this event it was pretty dangerous and we should have been more wise, a snake bite would not have been good.
