A visit to a Mezcal Distillery, a rug weavers and a town with a really big tree.

Lets not lie, the best part of this excursion was the trip to the Mezcal distillery. Mezcal is made much the same way as Tequila but with a different type of cactus and is produced in a more artisan fashion rather than on a grand scale. It is also supposed to be sipped like a whisky rather than downed in one and instead of lemon/lime Mezcal is best accompanied with Orange. Still all this being said does not take away from the fact that at the end of the day it is still pretty nasty tasting stuffed unless you get a good aged one but even then it is still pretty harsh.
