Our Sahara Desert Camping experience was way better than we were expecting. The camp was well equipped with sturdy tents with mattresses and a seemingly unlimited supply of blankets to help keep the cold off. there was even a couple of western toilets, running water, fire pit and a bunch of drums for us to player later in the evening.

Our host for the night was our Camel handler Saied. He really made the camping enjoyable and fun…. he can only be described as crazy, which is just what we needed.

After a tagine dinner we lit the fire and huddled round for, star gazing, music, dancing and generally playing silly-buggers

Great night, and definitely one of the trip highlights.
