Our journey continues from Punta Arenas in Chile to Ushuaia in Argentina, the southernmost city.

As part of this long 13 hour bus journey you need to cross the Strait of Magellan that separates mainland south america in the north and Tierra del Fuego in the south.

The Strait is the most important natural passage between Pacific and Atlantic oceans, although it is difficult to navigate.

On the journey you get to look out the window at the vastness of the Patagonian planes / desert, enjoy the ferry crossing and experience really long queues at border control.

By the end of the journey we were just about ready to collapse.
