Right at the trail-head was a notice reminding us that we were now deep in Grizzly Bear Country and a good job too as we had our first hiking encounter with a bear along the trail
The Beartooth Highway is a 68 mile long National Scenic Byway that connects The North East Corner of Yellowstone National Park and Red Lodge in Montana.
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is just downstream of Yellowstone Falls and is about 24 miles in length.
It is simply not possible to visit Cody without going to the Rodeo.... luckily it runs nightly and we loved every minute of it.
Cody is what I would describe as a proper Cowboy town. It is lovingly referred to as the Rodeo Capital of the World.
