A couple of days in Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, named after Queen Victoria was just enough time to allow us to take in the sights and relax a little.

While in Victoria we took a Whale Watching trip to see Orcas and a Humpback whale.

Tofino and Ucluelet are two small towns on the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island.

Florencia Beach is a sandy beach on the Pacific coast of Victoria Island, it is popular with surfers and is accessible by a nice forest walk.

While staying in Ucluelet we took a walk along the Wild Pacific Trail to experience some of Canada's rain forest and get a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean.

Cathedral Grove is a really nice little trail on Vancouver Island that take you through a lush woodland forest to see some amazing Douglas Fur and Ancient Cedar trees. Some trees along the trail are as old as 800 years and it is great to see them.

After spending pretty much 4 weeks camping it was time to say goodbye to the tent and hello to the city and life a bit more normal.

The last leg of our camping road-trip took us from Nakusp to Vancouver through the beautiful Okanagan.
